Funding base: Corporate/For profit. Owned and managed by: Farzaneh ABRAVANI and Mohammad PETGAR. Average Waiting Period: Less than 2 weeks. Average Age: 80. Can accommodate physically challenged people (wheelchair accessible). Smoking allowed (outside building only). Visiting Hours: Daytime only. Languages: English, Hungarian and Persian. Will accept Public guardian and Trustee clients. Main doors of facility secured/Locked at night only. Crisis team/disaster plan in place. Close to: Public Transit, Shopping, Churches, Synagogues, Senior’s Centre, Library, Major Highway, York Central Hospital. 2- Staffing: Available Staff / Services: Pharmacy, Music Therapy / Exercise Sessions, ,Games, Hobbies, Visiting MD (every 2 weeks), can retain own MD, Hair Dresser / Esthetician, 24 hour Nursing Staff. External Services such as CCAC etc. must be arranged by family / Resident. 3- Health Services: ![]() Medication administration and/or supervision. Vitals monitored if required. Assistance with dressing available. Different levels of care available. Lab service (visiting. $15.00/visit). Residents can purchase outside resources and use agency of their choice. 4 - Accommodation: Choice of suites available: semi-private(4) and private (8) rooms. In all suites: locks, storage, carpeting, window coverings, light fixtures, fire alarm, smoke detector, call bell and air conditioning (central). Some rooms have private washrooms, and some rooms share washrooms) with call bells, grab bars, tubs/showers with non-slip surfaces and elevated toilet seats. In suite cable TV provided by facility. Can have own phone number if resident arranges with Phone Company. Furnished suites are available. Restriction on electrical appliances: small appliances must be reviewed and approved by the management. Suites can be shared. Pets allowed (resident must be able to provide total care). All windows open. 5- Dining Services: ![]() All meals included in fee and served in Dining Room daily. Sittings per meal: Breakfast: 1, Lunch, Dinner: 1. Guest Meals: Breakfast $10.00, Lunch $10.00, Dinner $10.00. Special Diets: Vegetarian, kosher, Low Salt and Diabetic. Tray service to room if ill avaliable (no charge as long as doctor orders) . 2 snack/ day. Party facilities. Open pantry. Residents are allowed to buy and store their own foods in the facility’s refrigerators. 6- Amenities and Activities: Parking available (outdoor for visitors and residents). 2 lounge with: TV (1) , Piano (1), games (1) and books (1). Facility has a library. We have a barber/ hairdresser which visit upon senior’s request. Facilities of laundry room(s) (no cost). Facility provides newspaper delivery to individual suites.
